Aisling Duffy is a slow fashion designer based in Dublin.
She is a graduate of the National College of Art and Design and the Edinburgh College of Art where she studied Printed Textiles. Aisling founded her namesake brand in London while working as a print designer. Her style blends feminine silhouettes with print-heavy designs. Techniques such as collage, screen-printing, hand painting and digital are foundational to how she designs her fashion collections - a reflection of Aisling background in textiles.

"When Izzy and Conor invited me to be part of the Way Bad show I was excited to create work for the Riso - a technique I had not yet worked with and I was eager to learn and understand how it all works.

"I started with what am I bad at (emails) and how I’m great at day dreaming. Then i started thinking how nice it would be to just send cute little notes or scrap book type things to people rather than formal emails. I found all these old kids letter writing kits from the 90s and was inspired by how we used to write letters before e-mails. Then I began exploring stamp collections which lead me to my sticker collections from my childhood. After much exploring I created a series of email alternative letters/greetings which explore my love of collage, texture, old photos of cats and random notes to myself."
